Final contender is here, for the Burger Battle! Not only are these veggie burgers organic, but they are all plant based and I can understand the ingredient list! No crazy amount of chemicals. Just real organic natural ingredients! Plus, they are delicious and I love the little crunch you get from the almonds!
Don Lee Farms Veggie Burgers! I found them at Costco, but their website says that they do carry them at other locations across the country. I also really like the fact that the company donates a portion of their profits to national and local hunger-relief organizations! What do you know?! A company who cares!
Organic vegetables, organic wheat flour, organic quinoa, organic soybean oil, organic almonds, sea salt, organic spices, organic garlic. That's it!
Simple ingredients, high nutrition, in a convenient way!
There are companies out there that are looking out for your health and well being! You just have to look a little harder sometimes. All three of these burgers sat in my freezer, and I had no idea the CRAZY difference in nutrition between them, until I dug a little deeper.
Vegan doesn't mean healthy. Just like low-fat doesn't mean healthy.
If you can't make it from scratch, and it comes in a package - we have to really check out the labels! If there are long words, that you have never heard of - it is likely a chemical. Take the time to check out what you are putting into your body, it is truly the only one you ever get! Let's treat it with nutrient dense, clean, whole ingredient foods.
